Installation Technician, Electrician/ Electrician Installation

Electrical Apprentices assist Electricians with tasks such as pulling cable, installing devices, repairing equipment, and reading blueprints. This position requires enrollment in a 4‑year Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Apprenticeship Program. Some travel is required. Pay varies with experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Works under the direct supervision of a Journeyman Electrician and demonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.
- Assists with materials handling, installation of materials, devices and equipment.
- Identifies and eliminates hazardous conditions at the job site.
- Maintains the job site in a safe, neat and orderly condition.
- Handles and stages materials, equipment and tools.
- Assists with layout, wire pulls and installation.
- Might be required to operate heavy equipment.
- Assists with cable tray installations, device installations, and lighting connections.
- Receives on‑the‑job learning (OJL) as part of the apprenticeship program.
- Attends classes and makes satisfactory progress toward program completion.
- Safely operates hand and power tools.
- Possesses the ability to read and interpret instructions, maps, and manuals.
- Displays a positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
- Legally operates company vehicles and equipment.
- Requires working in all elements (rain, snow, heat, etc.).
- Must keep work tools (belt, bag, etc.) with them at all times.
- Uses all types of ladders, including step ladders up to 14 feet, A‑Frame and extension ladders up to 12 feet.
- Performs work at various heights, up to 90 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and catwalks, and can work in restricted areas.
- Wears protective personal equipment (PPE).

- Minimum age of 18.
- Provide I-9 documents to establish work eligibility.
- Evidence of high‑school diploma or GED; high‑school transcript if necessary.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- DD‑214 if veteran.
- Must successfully pass a drug test, physical, and background check.
- Good color acuity (determine wire colors).
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Able to work at least 40 hours per week, with overtime and night shift, as needed.
- Lift at least 50 pounds.
- Constant movement on feet.
