The Institute of Communication, Culture, Information and Technology (ICCIT) at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑stream position in Organizational Studies. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.
Responsibilities- Support current course offerings by teaching core undergraduate classes in ICCIT’s Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) program. Core DEM courses include Organizational Studies I and II, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Research Methods, E‑Business Strategies, and Communicating in and Between Organizations.
- Sustain and lead an innovative, independent research program, maintain competitive external funding and an outstanding research record.
- Contribute to a vibrant intellectual community at Canada’s leading university.
- Earned a PhD in organizational communication, business administration, organization studies, organizational behaviour, or related disciplines.
- Record of excellence in research and teaching, demonstrated by high‑impact contributions, publications in top‑ranked journals, conference presentations, awards, and strong endorsements.
- Established international reputation and ability to sustain a competitive, externally funded research program.
- Research interests in organizational design in platform‑oriented organizations, leadership and strategic change, ethical and values‑centered management, decision‑making in digitally driven environments, or a technology‑in‑society approach to organization studies.
