Position: Occupational Safety Specialist at Metrolinx
Become an Occupational Safety Specialist with Metrolinx, based in downtown Toronto. This in-office role focuses on developing and implementing health and safety programs aligned with OHSA guidelines.

As a key player in Metrolinx’s team, you will enhance the organization’s safety management program, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a proactive safety culture. Your responsibilities will include conducting training, pursuing safety metrics, and engaging with stakeholders to mitigate workplace risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety programs and policies

• Conduct field visits and incident investigations

• Identify root causes and recommend preventative measures

• Compile and analyze safety data for reporting

• Deliver corporate health and safety training

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field

• Experience in corporate health and safety programs

• Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation preferred

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Excellent communication and analytical skills
