Energy Infrastructure Supervisor at Agnico Eagle

Lead infrastructure maintenance initiatives as the General Supervisor for Energy and Infrastructure at Agnico Eagle. Coordinate electrical activities while ensuring adherence to quality control and safety standards.

As the General Supervisor for Energy and Infrastructure, you'll report directly to the Superintendent, overseeing both surface and underground power distribution.

Your role is crucial for maintaining good practices in preventive and corrective maintenance for our Meadowbank and Amaruq camps, ensuring effective operations for 900 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee electrical power distribution for mine sites

• Ensure maintenance practices for sewage and water treatment plants

• Direct maintenance of power plants and satellite generators

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

• 5 to 8 years in E&I roles, including supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of power plant auxiliary systems

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications

• Experience in underground and open-pit mining is an asset
