In this role, reporting to the Water Management & Geotechnical Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial part in the Environment Department. Your focus will be on achieving operational goals while upholding Agnico Eagle’s values. You will engage in field investigations, implement engineering solutions, and ensure high-quality standards in tailings management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure performance of tailings and water infrastructure

• Conduct field inspections analyzing geotechnical data

• Implement actions from surveillance activities

• Prepare engineering documents for infrastructure projects

• Manage geotechnical investigations and campaigns

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering

• 4-7 years in geotechnical engineering in mining

• Experience in earthwork construction

• Familiarity with Muck 3D and CAD software

• Eligible for NAPEG membership
