Regional Occupational Therapist (Part-Time)

This position is scheduled for 24 hours per week and involves traveling to multiple school locations to provide Occupational Therapy services.

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs or Section 504 plans.
• Assess motor, visual-motor, and sensory-motor skills for eligibility for services.
• Participate in IEP/Section 504 processes; provide input on assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Collaborate with the special education team to deliver comprehensive services to students with disabilities.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and stakeholders regarding students’ development.
• Integrate OT goals into the classroom and support objectives through therapy programs.
• Provide training on strategies to assist students in mainstream settings.
• Develop and adjust OT interventions with school staff and parents.
• Utilize a range of treatment strategies to support student development.
• Design adaptive equipment for individual students and classroom use.
• Maintain records of caseload, schedules, and progress; report changes to the Special Education Administrator.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings as needed and participate in school initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal.

• Master s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• American Occupational Therapy License
