At A-C Electric Company, we’re looking for Senior Project Managers who can create consistent, predictable results across complex construction projects. In this role, you’ll lead project teams, partner closely with Superintendents and other functional teams, and develop the project-management talent aroundyou. Depending on your experience, strengths, and project needs, your responsibilities may include leading a portfolio of concurrentprojects or taking primary leadership responsibility for a large,complex project.

As a Senior Project Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

• Leading projects from kickoff through closeout
  , managing schedules, budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and overall financial performance to ensure successful project execution.
• Driving disciplined financial performance through accurate forecasting, cost and margin management, financial reviews,billing discipline, and early identification of risks and variances.
• Building and maintaining strong client and team relationships by providing exceptional communication, leading project meetings, fostering collaboration, and supporting team development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Executing project plans by reviewing drawings,specifications, and contracts; coordinating manpower, equipment,materials, procurement, subcontractors, and project documentation;and managing contract administration and change orders.
• Developing project-management talent by coaching,mentoring, and holding project team members accountable to performance expectations while building their capability and readiness for greater responsibility.

Additional duties will include:

• Adapting project leadership to the work
  , managing priorities and resources across multiple concurrent projects or providing focused leadership to a large, complex project based on assignment needs.
• Coordinating procurement and subcontractor performance byworking with project teams to keep materials, activities, contract requirements, and construction expenditures aligned with project plans and schedules.
• Driving operational excellence by implementing Lean Construction principles, identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, constructability, productivity, and overall project efficiency, and proactively resolving project challenges.
• Representing A-C Electric Company with clients and stakeholders through proactive communication, transparency,reliable execution, and professional leadership in project meetings.
• Championing safe, high-quality execution and disciplined closeout by reinforcing Company standards throughout the project lifecycle.

• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field,
  or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Seven or more years of project management experience in construction.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver profitable project portfolios
  , supported by strong financial literacy and business acumen.
• A strong understanding of construction management
  ,including documents, contracts, and the financial and operational requirements involved in managing construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead and develop project teams while working effectively across field, procurement, client, and other functional relationships.

• Senior project leadership experience consisting of ahigh-volume portfolio of concurrent projects, large and complex construction projects, or comparable senior project-management assignments.
