Position: MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Rheumatology

Description

We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Rheumatology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases, such as arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving the quality of life for individuals suffering from these conditions. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at advancing research, treatment options, and patient outcomes in the field of rheumatology.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose rheumatic diseases.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment regimens to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in research studies and clinical trials related to rheumatology.
  • Stay current on advancements in rheumatology and incorporate best practices into patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about rheumatic diseases and treatment options.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely.
Requirements
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Rheumatology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Rheumatologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating rheumatic diseases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

No call shifts required

Patient Census: 25-30 per day

Preferred Experience:

1+ years

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Compensation & Benefits:
