Instructional/Intervention Aide K

Site Location of Position:
Wingland Elementary School

Term/Hours of Position: 5.75 Hours Per Day

Responsibilities and Duties:

Under the supervision of the site administrator and the direction of a certificated staff member, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a program for the regular and special needs of children in the classroom.

• Associate’s degree, two years of study at an institute of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment required by No Child Left Behind Act.
• CPR training required.

  Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Ability to work well with children.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Background to include activities that involve students and an interest in working with school age children.
• Experience working in an instructional environment.
• Experience or education in the areas of child development.

Range $16.50 - $19.61 per hour based on 10 steps. (Additional $0.32 in lieu of benefits).
