Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides instructional assistance with small groups of children under the direction of the teacher or a member of the certificated staff.
- Assists with checking, care, preparation, and arrangement of instructional materials and equipment.
- Assists with attendance and enrollment procedures, record keeping, filing, checking, etc.
- Operates audio visual equipment, copy machine, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate’s or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
Salary: Range 10, Step 1: $17.76 per hour (plus an additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits; and additional $0.25 per hour for Moderate/Severe)
