8.0 Hours per day; 12 months, 9:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.

• With supervision by the Director, Expanded Learning, is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the site-level Explore program.
• The site manager will establish cooperative and effective working relationships with children, parents, staff and community members; attend meetings as directed; assure records and files related to the program are in compliance; maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about children and families.
• Organize and implement the daily program and operations for the Explore After School Education Safety (ASES) Program.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester units); or an associate’s or higher degree; or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
• Possess and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of developmental needs of school-age children, principles and practices of appropriate instructional strategies, program implementation, and supervision practices.
