Basic Function

This role requires a professional expert to deliver construction and general industry safety training focused on welding.

Minimum Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related industry experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Experience Training Others to Weld

Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Knowledge & Abilities

• Knowledge of welding techniques, welding equipment, safety, and technical drawings.
• Ability to meet schedules and timelines and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations and facilitate inter‑organizational cooperation.
• Ability to learn college and district organization, applicable operations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to utilize internet research, computer word processing, electronic mail, and spreadsheet programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
