Fire Alarm Estimator (Maintenance)
Responsible for evaluating project requirements, conducting site inspections, and preparing detailed cost estimates for fire alarm systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and delivering accurate and timely estimates to support our project bids.
Essential Duties- Evaluate client inquiries and project specifications to determine the scope of the fire alarm system required.
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals based on company rates tailored to clients' specific needs while considering materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related costs.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to gather necessary information, working closely with PMs, engineers, and clients to understand their needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of project estimates, bids, and relevant communication to support project tracking and reporting.
- Meet with contractors and subcontractors on site to review site conditions and discuss bid scope.
- Maintain knowledge and have clear understanding on the application of all local and national codes, specifications, and guidelines set forth by authorities having jurisdiction.
- Prepare professional, accurate, and complete proposals for approval.
- Experience in Fire Alarm Estimation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with and ability to read, interpret, and apply NFPA, local and state codes.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Must be able to work within a team or independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to solve problems and work well under pressure.
3-5 years of related experience preferred.
Safety/Physical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk without sitting for extended periods.
- This position requires some walking, standing, and squatting.
- Ability to work in varying outdoor and indoor temperatures.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.

Division Manager
Pay Rate: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Classification:
Non-exempt, In-Person, Full Time
