Overview
Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking an assessment-only role? In this unique position, you will:

Responsibilities
Under general supervision, conducts Applied Behavior Analysis assessments using appropriate tools, preparing reports based on accurate data to determine program eligibility. Performs duties related to the designated service line.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and conducting assessment appointments in-home and in the community, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques
- Evaluating participants referred for ASD diagnosis, reviewing treatment plans with families, and updating the assessment team on scheduling issues
- Preparing and submitting timely assessment reports using approved templates
- Tracking and submitting mileage, documenting appointments and administrative time, and maintaining participant confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
- Staying current with ABA assessment techniques through ongoing training
- Supporting service line goals and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in psychology, early childhood education, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Current BCBA certification
- Current CPR certification
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience working with children with ASD in a multidisciplinary team setting or equivalent training and experience
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training is preferred for those in the Training department
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in ABA intervention and assessment techniques
- Excellent clinical, administrative, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of behavior management safety protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use devices like iPads
- Ability to interact professionally with participants and families, maintaining a positive demeanor
- Ability to interpret policies, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to pass physical, TB, and drug tests, and to travel locally with reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances and vaccinations
Physical Requirements (ADA):
- Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent standing, occasional walking
- Constant sitting, frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting
- Ability to view computer screens and read printed material
- Exposure to potential hazards and environmental conditions
