Person in this position will be responsible for the planning and coordination of the clinical activities pertaining to mental health services for clients and their families. Interview clients when referred by clinical staff for therapy, conduct assessment and individual, conjoint, couple, and multiple family group counseling as indicated. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.

• Plan and coordinate the clinical activities pertaining to co-occurring clients and their families including individual and group counseling and group facilitation.
• Supervise the screening and assignment of cases referred for co-occurring clients.
• Assist staff at arriving at solutions to client problems as they relate to mental health issues.
• Participate in staff meetings and conferences pertaining to client treatment plans and progress in treatment.
• Participate in discharge planning with clinical staff at the conclusion of therapy.
• Attend and participate in the diagnostic and technical meetings for cooperative planning and treatment by clinical staff.
• Participate in staff training as it relates to therapy.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the quality improvement process as it relates to therapy.
• Participation in Quality Improvement activities in an ongoing basis.
• Responsible for maintaining the client charts in compliance with agency, state and any other rules and standards; and
• Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of West Care Foundation; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
• Valid drivers license and ability to obtain and maintain West Cares vehicle insurance is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Fresno County Credentialing; and
• CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.
• As mandated by Presidential Order all employees of West Care Foundation, Inc. and all affiliates of West Care Foundation, Inc. will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective 12/08/2021.

• Must possess a masters degree in a discipline leading to licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. Must be licensed or license eligible, under the supervision of a qualified LPHA and registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. License preferred.

• Valid drivers license and ability to obtain and maintain West Cares vehicle insurance is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Fresno County Credentialing; and
• CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.
• As mandated by Presidential Order all employees of West Care Foundation, Inc. and all affiliates of West Care Foundation, Inc. will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective 12/08/2021. Employees that have requested a Medical or Religious Exemption, which has been approved by Human Resources will be required to test for the virus weekly.
• During your tenure with West Care there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that West Care may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.
