A. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school graduate or GED
• CPR & First Aid certified.
• Recent TB
• Valid DL and car insurance, reliable vehicle
• Shall have one year-full-time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, OR Shall have one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Attends a minimum of (5) initial training upon pre-employment.
• Attends a minimum of (5) hours of continuing education training annually.
• Must have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered work with this agency.
• Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.
• Experience working as a caregiver or similar field
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to client'sneeds
• High attention to details
• Certifications that may apply

• Must adhere to the client's plan of care. Must follow the agency's policies & procedures. Report abuse, neglect, exploitation, etc. according to the agency's guidelines. Must always use proper body mechanics. Ensure home care services are provided safely and professionally. Use proper techniques when performing or assisting with Activities of Daily Living. Follow basic infection control procedures & universal precautions. Must report to work at a scheduled time & leave at a scheduled time.
  
  Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Understand and respect clients' rights and responsibilities.
