Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document functional business requirements to support and streamline operations across the organization.
• Develop complex business and technical requirement specifications by conducting internal and external research, performing detailed technical analysis, and clearly presenting findings to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Lead and facilitate business requirement meetings using Agile methodology, guiding business units through the "What” sessions to ensure accurate creation and documentation of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Provide technical interpretation and guidance to Application Development teams during Agile "How” sessions to ensure clear understanding of technical requirements tied to business stories and acceptance criteria.
• Effectively manage and contribute to multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and recommend reconciliation points following comprehensive process reviews or data analytics engagements to prevent, mitigate, and resolve current and future reconciliation issues.
• Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in SQL for analytical data mining, software development support, TFS, and business reporting.
• Understand, implement, and support system configuration changes within managed care core system software to enable business functions such as eligibility, claims processing, authorizations, and case management.
• Mentor team members and lead the development of testing plans, supporting testing execution and successful implementation of enterprise software systems.
