Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong tax expertise to support tax determination, statutory requirements, and tax-related integrations within SAP S/4

HANA. You will work across SD, MM, and FI, partner with business and IT teams, and support tax engines, digital reporting, testing, and complex production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver automated tax determination logic in SAP S/4

HANA using condition technique.
Integrate tax requirements across SD, MM, and FI for consistent tax treatment.
Configure and maintain SAP interfaces with external tax engines such as ONESOURCE and Sovos.
Support local statutory requirements, including real-time reporting and SAF-T.
Translate complex tax laws and business requirements into functional specifications.
Lead Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT for tax-related changes.
Resolve complex tax calculation and e-invoicing issues in high-volume environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
8+ years of SAP FICO implementation experience, including at least 2 full life-cycle implementations.
Proven FI and CO/SD/MM integration experience.
Strong SAP FICO knowledge focused on Tax and Statutory requirements in the US/Canada.
Experience with the ONESOURCE tax engine preferred.
Expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax, including VAT/GST.
SAP DRC experience preferred.
ABAP debugging skills for complex tax calculation and interface issues.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
