Overview
Join as a Claims Special Investigator III at AAA Auto Club Enterprises. The role focuses on investigating and disposing of potentially fraudulent claims across product lines, acting as a liaison with industry partners such as carriers, law enforcement, and state insurance regulators.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement investigative strategies for assigned casualty, auto property damage, auto theft, and homeowners claims.
- Conduct thorough field investigations, reviewing suspicious activity, performing background searches, and researching as appropriate.
- Prepare investigative reports outlining issues, findings, and recommendations for claims staff.
- Report to NICB, Department of Insurance, and local District Attorneys; attend and testify in court hearings as required.
- Stay current on emerging fraud trends and investigative tools.
- Provide training to claims staff on fraud and industry trends; educate anti-fraud personnel to identify and refer suspicious claims.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 4‑6 years of prior claims experience required.
- Proficient in computer and line‑of‑business technical software.
- Advanced knowledge of policy language, coverage, liability, and settlement.
- Advanced organization, planning, oral, written, interpersonal, interviewing, and negotiation skills required.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record and minimum liability insurance issued by state.

Starting pay range: $72,700 – $96,800. Full‑time positions eligible for incentive program based on organization, team, and personal performance.
