TIG Welder and Fabricator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator with experience in sanitary welding within a food processing facility. The ideal candidate must be proficient in welding stainless steel using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques. Additionally, they should be adept at using hand tools such as drills, grinders, and mechanics tools, including wrenches. Proficiency in using an acetylene torch and plasma cutter is required, alongside the ability to read blueprints and prepare parts for welding.

• Perform sanitary welding in a food processing facility.
• Weld stainless steel using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Utilize hand tools including drills, grinders, and mechanics tools.
• Operate acetylene torch and plasma cutter for metal cutting.
• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks.
• Prepare parts for welding and ensure precision in tasks.
• Set up and operate saw, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools.

• Experience in sanitary welding in a food processing environment.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Ability to use hand tools such as drills, grinders, and wrenches.
• Skill in operating acetylene torch and plasma cutter.
• Competence in reading blueprints.
• Ability to prepare parts accurately for welding.

• Capability in metal cutting and grinding.
• Experience setting up and operating metalworking tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bakersfield, CA.
