Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

Wound Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants needed in Bakersfield, CA. No wound care experience required – training provided.

Position Highlights

• Weekly rounding:
  Monday–Friday, approximately 7am to 4pm (flexible start time)
• No evenings, weekends, or call
• Part-time (2–3 days/week) with growth potential to full-time (4–5 days/week)
• Uncapped W-2 earning potential, directly proportional to provider availability, EMR documentation, number of patient encounters per month, and facilities covered (projected $175k-$195k annually for full-time)
• Instruments provided by Ameri Wound (e.g., debridement kits)
• Dedicated nurse to round with at each facility
• Company laptop provided with EMR APRIMA
• Malpractice insurance provided for both full- and part-time providers
• Mileage reimbursement based on standard IRS guidelines
• We support office and administrative tasks to maximize patient time with family

• Round weekly at assigned facilities within the territory
• Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine
• Perform medical procedures as necessary (e.g., debridement)
• Communicate and collaborate with facility clinical staff on findings and treatments
• Explain diagnosis and treatment goals to patients
• Document each patient encounter in EMR (APRIMA) and maintain patient records on company laptop
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities as needed

• APRN or PA-C
• Two years of experience as a solo practitioner preferred
• Active, unrestricted state medical license
• DEA license
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and strong attention to detail
