Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills in all aspects of leadership and participant services.
  • Promote and model the mission, vision, and values of the PACE program, fostering staff engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with PACE leadership and clinical leaders to develop, implement, and evaluate healthcare services.
  • Serve as a primarily administrative and leadership capacity while maintaining clinical competency and providing direct RN coverage for center‑based, clinic, or home health nursing functions as needed during staffing transitions or absences.
  • Maintain active RN licensure and competencies sufficient to provide clinical leadership, oversight, and limited direct care when required.
  • Provide direct supervision to Registered Nurse managers and lead across PACE operations, including center‑based nursing, clinic nursing, and home health nursing.
  • Provide indirect oversight of licensed and unlicensed nursing and personal care staff through subordinate RN leadership roles.
  • Serve as interim or backup RN leadership for center, clinic, or home health operations as needed until permanent positions are filled.
  • Collaborate with PACE leadership to ensure continuity of nursing leadership coverage across all settings.
  • Achieve participant access, quality, and financial performance objectives.
  • Provide direct supervision to Center and Support Services Managers, ensuring accountability and professional growth.
  • Lead employees to accomplish departmental and organizational objectives; inspire confidence and motivation; define clear expectations; and maintain personal effectiveness under pressure.
  • Utilize data and metrics to drive efficiency, quality improvement, and staff empowerment.
  • In collaboration with PACE leadership, develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and financial information; ensure effective and economical use of resources.
  • Support a culture of transparency by developing, sharing, and updating dashboards, reports, and data with Center and Support Services Managers.
  • Ensure equitable allocation of human resources across multiple IDTs to meet participant care needs.
  • Ensure all centers and support services maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, CMS and DHCS requirements, and PACE program standards.
  • Facilitate preparation for regulatory audits and surveys; ensure readiness across all centers and support services.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current unencumbered CA Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Current BLS CPR Card certified by American Heart Association.
  • The ADCO RN must have one of the following qualifications:
    • Master’s Degree, preferred.
    • A registered nurse a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing or another health‑related field with three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience supervising licensed staff in a health care setting.
  • Adherence to Clinica Sierra Vista's employee health/immunization requirements or valid exemption request.
