• Quality control, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the produce department.
• Inventory management.
• Coaching, feedback, and one‑on‑one development discussions for team members; conduct bi‑annual performance reviews and recommend merit increases.
• Attend and participate in in‑store meetings.
• Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Exercise independent judgment to address team member concerns and document corrective actions when needed.
• Plan schedules and staffing levels to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
• Lead a team to deliver the finest quality product, highest level of service, and the greatest customer experience.
• Serve as a key carrier for the store and/or act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.

• Min. 18 years old with 1–3 years in a grocery retail setting, including produce management experience.
• Basic math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• General housekeeping responsibilities – clean and sanitize work area (tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.).
• Adherence to safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb; lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lbs for up to 3 feet; use pallet jack and six‑wheel carts as required.
• Work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a Food Handlers permit.
• Knowledge of personnel, margin, sales, and financial reports.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior and a positive attitude toward team members and customers.

$21.40 – $34.25 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
