POSITION SUMMRY

Mantera is seeking Business Development Associate to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity offering base hourly pay or commission-based earnings with recurring residuals. Designed for professionals with strong business networks who thrive meeting new people. Business Development Associate serve as the front line of our sales pipeline, generating leads, conducting outreach, qualifying prospects, and referring opportunities for closing.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research & qualify prospects:
    Review company websites, social media, online reviews, and business listings to understand their brand and identify the best decision-maker (owner, marketing director, etc.).
  • Initiate outreach & conversations:
    Confidently connect with business owners through calls, networking, email, Linked In, and in-person visits to start genuine, two-way conversations.
  • Lead with curiosity:
    Ask thoughtful questions, listen actively, and uncover each prospect’s goals, challenge, and timelines.
  • Track activity in Air Table:
    Log leads, notes, priority level, and handoff status to keep the pipeline organized and up to date.
  • Nurture relationships:
    Maintain ongoing contact through networking, prospecting, and consistent follow-up to build trust and a steady flow of opportunities.
  • Handoff qualified leads:
    Provide Matt Molina with a clear summary of the prospect’s needs, context, and next steps. Matt will handle all negotiations and proposal/contract development.
  • Patience is key:
    This is a luxury service, not a quick-sale environment. Success comes from patience, professionalism, and meaningful conversations over time, not high-pressure tactics. Take your time and lead with quality conversations.
