Job Purpose:

- The Event Security Officer at MARC Security Services LLC is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during events. This role involves maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring event activities, and responding promptly to incidents, all while providing excellent customer service and upholding the company's standards for security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough security checks and screenings at event entrances to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of all attendees.  - Patrol event premises, including parking areas, to deter and detect any suspicious activities or security breaches.  - Monitor surveillance equipment and report any irregularities or emergencies to the appropriate authorities.  - Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.  

- Provide clear and professional communication with event staff, attendees, and emergency personnel.  - Assist in crowd control and manage the flow of people to prevent overcrowding and ensure a safe environment.  - Maintain accurate and detailed reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken during the event.  - Collaborate with event organizers and other security personnel to implement and enforce security protocols and procedures.  

- Participate in pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings to discuss security strategies and improvements.  - Uphold MARC Security Services LLC's commitment to professionalism, integrity, and customer satisfaction in all interactions.## Qualifications Required

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in security or law enforcement.  - Experience in event security or crowd management is preferred.

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.  - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  - Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.  - Proficiency in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.  - Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.  - Familiarity with security protocols and emergency procedures.  - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.  

- Valid security guard license or certification is preferred.
