Heat & Frost Insulator

Mid Cal Labor Solutions is looking for a Heat and Frost Insulator Full-Time, Nonexempt Pay Range: $20.00–$28.00 per hour

Some of the main duties of a heat and frost insulator include:

• applying and securing insulation
• measuring and cutting insulating material using hand and power tools
• installing vapor, fire and smoke barriers
• applying waterproofing cement over insulating materials to finish surfaces
• and reading and interpreting specifications to select the type of insulation required

• Measure, cut, fabricate, and install insulation using hand and power tools
• Apply insulation and finishes, including aluminum, PVC, and stainless-steel jacketing
• Assist with material delivery, job-site setup, and organization
• Read and follow plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Assist helpers and other team members as needed
• Assist with project reports and change-order requests
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one year of field experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Must have experience in measuring, cutting, fabrication, and installing insulation using hand and power tools
• Must have experience in apply insulation and finishes, including aluminum, PVC, and stainless-steel jacketing Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship

• This position may involve exposure to electrical hazards, slips and trips, falls, working at heights, and construction-site hazards
• Proper PPE and compliance with all company safety procedures are required
