Route Driver - Waterfall

Waterfall Cleaners is looking for full-time Route Drivers to join our close-knit team. We are a customer-focused group that provides reliable dry-cleaning and laundry services, ensuring seamless delivery and pickup with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and exceptional service.

The successful Route Driver will have a professional demeanor, build strong customer relationships, and be adaptable to flexible schedules. The successful Route Driver who becomes a part of our growing team will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities for Route Drivers

• Develop a deep understanding of designated routes and safely operate company vehicles while adhering to traffic laws

• Scan, load, deliver orders to customers' homes/businesses, and pick up new items, following specific notes and locations

• Promptly drop off picked-up customer bags at assigned locations

• Actively solicit new customers, build rapport, ask for referrals, and go door-to-door to meet or exceed sales goals

• Manage daily routes efficiently, rearrange as needed for new customers or issues, and find solutions with minimal oversight

• Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks, report issues, complete weekly reports, and clean the vehicle weekly

• Greet customers professionally by name when possible, communicate via in-person, text, or phone to resolve questions or concerns

• Follow up personally with customers who miss scheduled pickups and collaborate to resolve item issues

• Cross-train in multiple roles, work cooperatively with the team, and adapt to various responsibilities

• Ensure accurate order processing, verify orders before delivery, and comply with policies and safety regulations

• Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Route Drivers

• Experience in driving and delivery in a fast-paced, customer service environment

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including potential overtime, Mondays-Saturdays (store hours: Mon-Fri 7 AM-6 PM, Sat 8 AM-6 PM)

• Professional appearance, punctuality, and ability to handle physical demands like lifting and carrying garments

• Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to navigate local roadways

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with customer garments

• Previous sales or route development experience preferred, but not required; must be 18 or older

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
