ORGANIC CLASS “A” DRIVER
LOCATION: ORGANIC HARVESTING SITES (Yuma, Coachella & Westmorland - 5 months out of the year)
SHIFT: DAY
REPORTS TO: ORGANIC SUPERVISOR/FOREMAN
About the Opportunity:Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Organic Class A Driver responsible for transporting product, packaging materials, ice, and related supplies from harvesting sites to packing sheds and vice versa. What you will need:
- Class A driver’s license, required.
- Double/Triple Trailer endorsement certificate, required.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), required.
- Must be able to safely maneuver a diesel truck pulling a set of loaded trailers.
- Must be able and willing to travel out of town for extended periods
- Must have the ability to travel, 5 months out of the year, as required to:
Yuma, Coachella and Westmorland. - Must have a valid Class A driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
- Previous truck driving experience with manual transmission.
- Ability to read field tickets.
