• Responsible for shift operations: cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.

• Manage staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.

Training

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers.

Essential Functions / Skills

• Accurate math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination for precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions, in‑store temperatures 36–90°F, sudden temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges.

Sensing

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, differentiation between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

The ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, under stress, meet quality control standards, analyze data, and make decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, and sitting during paperwork.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying heavy items, pushing/pulling trays.
• Climbing stairs or ladders; stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, and hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination.
• Shaping pizza dough, using pizza peel and stove‑safety tools.

Driving Specific Job Duties

• Deliver product by car to customer.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
