Job DescriptionChamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Instructors interested in teaching students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program studying at our Irwindale, CA campus.
You will be mentoring students in person at an inpatient clinical setting. You'll be making connections between what our students are learning in the classroom and during simulations, with the real-world applications in patient care they are experiencing on-site. By bridging this gap, we can ensure that our students are not only well-prepared for their roles as healthcare professionals but also confident in their abilities to provide high-quality care to their patients.

Clinicals are scheduled in a healthcare facility in the areas of the Inland Empire, Los Angeles County and Orange County (depending on specialty):
- North and South Los Angeles County: Los Angeles, Panorama City, Paramount, Sylmar, Van Nuys.
- Orange County: Brea, Duarte, Fullerton, Inglewood, San Gabriel
- Santa Clarita Valley: Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Valencia
- San Fernando Valley: Burbank, Calabasas, Glendale, Hidden Hills, San Fernando
- Montclair
- Thousand Oaks
- Riverside
Required commitment is one 8-12/hour shift per week for each 8-week session at one of our clinical partner sites. Clinical schedules vary every session: weekdays, weekends or nights shifts depending on specialty.

- Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
