Job Overview
Come join our family at In‑N‑Out Burger! We have an excellent opportunity for a full‑time, experienced Maintenance Service Technician covering our Arroyo Grande, CA market. The Maintenance Service Technician needs to be HVAC certified and will work for the Service department.
Responsibilities- Maintenance and repair of all In‑N‑Out Burger restaurant equipment – cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, doors, shelves, etc.
- Work well independently with little or no supervision.
- Travel to the In‑N‑Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies.
- Observe all safety guidelines and maintain the cleanliness of your specific work area.
- Full‑time, hourly (non‑exempt) position.
- Schedule:
Five days a week on a rotating schedule including holidays and weekends. - Hours:
7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; occasional on‑call availability required. - Travel is required (approximately 25%); preferrably you live within 30 miles of Arroyo Grande.
- Pay: $34.00 – $38.15 per hour (based on experience and other job‑related factors).

- Must have EPA certification and HVAC certification.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in refrigeration, air conditioning repair, and restaurant equipment repair.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Knowledge of high‑voltage AC power (3 phase).
- Soda fountain and trade‑school experience is a plus.
- Strong experience working as a maintenance technician on commercial jobs.
- A valid CA driver’s license is required (company vehicle provided).
