School-Based Behavior Technician (RBT / ABA Therapist)

Location: Oceanside, Long Island, NY.

As a BT/RBT, you will work directly with students in school environments, implementing behavior support plans created by a BCBA. Your background in mental health or social work brings empathy, rapport‑building skills, and a deep understanding of human behavior.

• Provide one‑on‑one support to students during the school day.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA.
• Support emotional regulation and pro‑social skills.
• Collect data and communicate observations to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote student success.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or a related human‑services field.
• ABA experience is required.
• Experience working with children or adolescents.
• Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to follow clinical direction from a BCBA.
• Reliability and comfort working in school settings.
