Managed Care/HMO/Insurance Biller and Collections
Monday – Friday
· 9:00am
-5:00pm
- Check Eligibility via Insurance Websites and/or Telephone
- Billing/collection
- A/Rfollow-up unpaid or denied claims
- Phonecalls to insurance, request for Reprocessing
- Denials,Insurance Appeals
- Claims follow-up
- Working denials
- Determining appropriate next steps based on AR & Aging Reports
- Reading and interpreting EOBs
- Sending Corrected Claims
- Calling insurance companies at various stages of the claims process
- Experience in Insurance & MLTC billing preferred
- Additional
Skills: - Excellent communication skills
- Confidence talking on the phone to patients and insurance representatives
- Good writing skills
- Abilityto multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment without getting distracted
- Self-starter but able to work on a team and take direction
- Understanding of General Ledger
- Postingof Payments
