This role is responsible to continuously monitor Asset's health data with an objective to improve asset reliability and performance, provide consistent communication and reporting, and provide engineering solutions to reliability issues.

• Conduct reliability projects, including plant modifications and innovation projects, with a focus on safety, cost reduction, and equipment reliability improvement
• Evaluate fleet performance using data analysis tools, identifying trends, and creating reports to guide reliability strategies
• Lead root cause analyses to address equipment failures and optimise performance in line with business safety and financial goals
• Continually liaise with suppliers and OEM’s to identify improvement opportunities
• Follow the Thiess Change Management Process for all proposed changes to Asset Strategies & or Design Registrations
• Monitor diagnostic and condition monitoring activities when needed to improve equipment MTBF

• Trade qualification / Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications / experience
• Experience in maintenance operations with large mining equipment
• Experience in maintenance activities for large mining equipment
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Competent in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. JDE)
• Knowledge of contract management, including subcontractors
