Production Engineer Job Balikpapan area,Indonesia,Engineering

Role and Responsibilities:

Accountable for safety hazard analysis to meet zero lost time accident in relevant plant.
To optimize plant throughput with constructive proposal.
To provide appropriate recommendation for product quality matters.
To assist in product development and optimizing plant capability in terms of electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, piping, HEX sizing, etc.
To carry out tasks as assigned in capex / process improvement project.
To coordinate annual plant shutdown activities as well as planned plant stoppage activities.
To establish and implement procedures and best practices relevant to Quality Management System, Food and Feed Safety Management System, Sustainability, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System, Halal and Kosher Certification, and other management systems implemented in the company.
To ensure each unit of operation is working to target capacity, quality, cost efficiency, maintenance and safety standard.
Liaise closely with maintenance and technical to ensure designated plant achieved high process reliability and production targets.
To perform process trouble shooting and resolve quality problem.
Provide training to Plant Supervisor/Operator for continuously upgrading their quality of work and process understanding.
Plan, organize and coordinate plant maintenance works.
Monitor and ensure Production Capacity, Plant Utilities, Production Consumables and Chemical Consumption are within target/budget.
To meet and comply with all system requirements such as ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 etc.
To liaise with maintenance for plant & equipment upkeep.
To monitor wastes generated from designated plant and propose mitigation if deviation found.
Compliance with governmental and local regulations.
Comply with all quality standards and requirements set by the Company as well as meeting the product specification required by customers.

Job Success Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
4 to 7 years working experience in refinery/oleo chemical industry.

Additional Notes / Desirable Skills / Required Skills

Leadership to lead team of engineer to meet department objective.
Basic experience in fluid engineering such as a pipe, pump and heat exchanger sizing.
Analytical mind in process solving and trouble shooting.
Mass & energy balance for optimization.
Basic knowledge in instrumentation, mechanical and DCS.
Basic knowledge in system management.
Fast response on decision making for process interruption.
Perseverance on process trouble shooting.
