Position Summary

ZTE Indonesia is seeking an experienced NPO Manager to lead network performance optimization initiatives across LTE and 5G mobile networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving radio network performance improvements, managing optimization teams, and ensuring superior customer experience through data-driven optimization strategies and operational excellence.

Detailed Job Description

As an NPO Manager, you will lead Network Performance Optimization activities for large-scale mobile telecommunications networks, ensuring optimal performance across LTE and 5G radio access infrastructures. You will be responsible for analyzing network KPIs, identifying performance bottlenecks, leading optimization programs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve service quality and customer experience. The role requires strong leadership capabilities combined with deep technical expertise in RAN optimization, network analytics, drive test analysis, and performance management.

You will serve as a key stakeholder in network improvement initiatives, contributing to coverage enhancement, capacity optimization, and overall network quality objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge mobile technologies while supporting one of Indonesia’s leading telecommunications projects.

• Lead and manage Network Performance Optimization (NPO) activities across LTE and 5G networks.
• Analyze network KPIs and identify opportunities for coverage, capacity, and quality improvements.
• Develop and execute optimization plans to enhance network performance and user experience.
• Coordinate optimization activities and manage teams involved in network performance projects.
• Monitor service quality metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network performance degradation and service-impacting issues.
• Analyze drive test results and OSS performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Prepare optimization reports, performance dashboards, and management presentations.
• Collaborate with RAN, Core, Transmission, and Operations teams to resolve end-to-end network issues.
• Support network modernization, expansion, and new technology deployment initiatives.
• Ensure project objectives, KPIs, and customer requirements are achieved.
• Travel to project sites as required to support optimization activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Network Performance Optimization (NPO) within mobile telecommunications networks.
• Strong leadership experience managing optimization teams and coordinating technical projects.
• Solid knowledge of LTE and 5G network architecture, KPIs, and optimization methodologies.
• Strong understanding of 2G, 4G LTE, and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) parameters and optimization techniques.
• Experience with network KPI analysis, performance monitoring, and optimization reporting.
• Hands-on experience with drive test analysis and network performance assessment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python or other data analytics/programming languages for network performance analysis and automation is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Previous experience working on Telkomsel projects.
• Hands-on experience with ZTE radio and optimization platforms.
• Knowledge of VoLTE, ENDC, NSA, and SA 5G deployments.
• Experience with OSS performance management and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with network automation, scripting, and advanced analytics techniques.
