Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end national export, import, and logistics activities for equipment, spare parts, and customer‑owned assets.
  • Partner with freight forwarders and internal teams to manage shipment status, priority deliveries, and on‑time supply to customers and operations.
  • Maintain compliance with trade regulations, Weir governance, and accurate HS Code classification for smooth customs clearance.
  • Track delivery performance, lead times, and supply reliability while identifying risks and supporting mitigation actions.
  • Prepare accurate operational and delivery performance reports to enhance visibility and continuous improvement across logistics processes.
  • Champion safe, ethical, and environmentally responsible practices by aligning all logistics activities with Weir’s values, safety culture, and regulatory standards.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
  • Demonstrates solid knowledge of export–import operations, logistics coordination, customs processes, documentation, and HS Code classification.
  • Understands end‑to‑end logistics workflows across manufacturing plants, warehouses, ports, and customer sites, supporting KPI achievement in delivery performance, lead times, and service levels.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally in English, with strong written and verbal skills to engage suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams.
  • Analyses shipment costs and logistics data, using SAP and Microsoft Excel to support reporting, tracking, and cost‑effective decision‑making.
  • Applies strong organisational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills to manage multiple shipments, shift priorities, and maintain accurate export–import documentation.
  • Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, safety awareness, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset in all logistics and compliance activities.
