Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Pay Rate: $18.50 to $24.50 per hour (starting based on experience)

• File, bend, braze, stamp, grind, and polish to create handheld surgical instruments.
• Use microscope for certain tasks.
• Learn and apply new techniques and skills within standard times for manufacturing surgical instruments.
• Complete each level in the 5‑year apprenticeship program.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hand metal working.
• Ability to visualize shapes.
• Ability to follow verbal and written manufacturing procedures.
• Minimum 6 months experience from other shops that provide surgical instruments.
• Assessment will be required to evaluate skills.
• Experience using hand tools (pliers, hammers, files) preferred.
• Excellent manual dexterity.
