Trainee Design & CAD Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: BALLYCASTLE CLIMBING FRAMESSupport the design team by creating and updating layout drawings for climbing frames, garden builds and outdoor projects. Learn basic CAD, digital measurements and 3D layout presentation.

• Assist in creating and updating technical drawings using CAD software.
• Interpret measurements, site photos and sketches to produce layout plans.
• Maintain digital drawing archives and project design folders.
• Support senior designers with amendments and visual presentation materials.
• Help produce 2D and 3D visuals for clients proposals.
• Liaise with workshop and installation teams to ensure accuracy of designs.

• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn CAD programs.
• Strong visual awareness and spatial understanding.
• Good mathematical and measurement skills.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
