Trainee Fabricator​/Workshop Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: BALLYCASTLE CLIMBING FRAMES Assist in the workshop with the preparation and assembly of play and garden structures. Learn how to measure, cut and assemble materials safely while maintaining a tidy workspace.

• Assist skilled fabricators with preparation and assembly of wooden and metal components.
• Measure, cut and drill materials accurately under supervision.
• Operate hand tools and workshop machinery safely.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Prepare finished products for delivery or installation.
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Learn how to read technical drawings and production plans.

• Good practical and hands-on ability.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Willingness to learn tool use and fabrication techniques.
• Awareness of workshop safety and teamwork.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and complete physical tasks.
