Credit Control Manager

Mac Kenzie King are excited to be recruiting an experienced and proactive Credit Control Manager for a client, based in Colchester, on a 9-month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for a confident credit professional who can hit the ground running, manage a credit control function effectively, and support the business during a period of change.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt Oversee customer credit limits and perform regular credit risk assessments Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers Handle escalated or complex debt queries and disputes Produce regular reporting on debtor days, aged debt, and cash flow Review and improve credit control processes and policies where appropriate Support month-end processes and provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required Key Skills & Attributes:
Proven experience in a Credit Control Manager role with team management experience Strong knowledge of credit control best practices and risk management Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong Excel and financial systems experience
