Accountant, Tax Accountant, Financial Reporting

We are now looking to add an Accountant on a permanent,full time or part time basis, due to ongoing growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of year end financial statements for Sole trade, Partnership and Limited Companies Self Assessment tax returns for self-employed, partnerships and individuals Capital Gains Tax computations Completion of VAT returns in line with MTD Preparation of management accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis using a variety of cloud based software (mainly QBO and Xero) Being a trusted adviser to clients, forming excellent client relationships Being responsible for service delivery and seeking opportunities to add value Assisting with Payroll & CIS and liaising with HMRC, where required

Experience and qualifications:

ACCA or ACA Qualified preferred with 2 years minimum Practice experience, or Qualified by

Experience with 4 years minimum in a Practice environment Strong IT skills and sound knowledge of the use of Excel and Cloud Accounting Software Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients at all levels Have good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the firm Ability to produce high quality financial information and work to deadlines Package:
