Accounts Payable Administrator – Keep Our Payments Running Smoothly
Location: Ballymena
Salary: Negotiable

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

As our Accounts Payable Administrator, you'll be at the heart of TST Group's busy Accounts team, making sure suppliers are paid accurately and on time, and that our records are always audit-ready. If you've got a sharp eye for detail, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and take satisfaction in getting the numbers right first time, this role is for you.
WhatYou'll Do
- Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices for accuracy
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Process invoices and prepare payments, cheques, electronic transfers, and wire payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems
- Ensure payments are made in line with company policies and agreed payment terms
- Respond to vendor queries on invoices and payments
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare reports on accounts payable balances and outstanding invoices
- Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Support audits by providing the documentation required
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A permanent, full-time role with steady Monday–Friday hours
- Full training provided if you're new to transport, logistics, freight, or warehousing
- Support for a relevant accounting qualification (AAT, IATI, Accounting Technician or equivalent) if you're studying towards one
- The chance to build your experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment
