Graduate Trainee Accountant

Reed are supporting a local highly successful regional practice to recruit a motivated and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their growing financial reporting and outsourcing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or individual looking to begin a professional career in accounting. No previous accounting experience is required. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in finance and accounting, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Full training and support will be provided, including study support towards a professional accounting qualification.

Key Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation of accounts for a range of clients Supporting the completion of bookkeeping and VAT returns Assisting with tax compliance work for individuals and businesses Processing financial information and maintaining accurate client records Reconciling bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts Liaising with clients to obtain information and documentation when required Supporting senior team members with day-to-day accounting assignments Learning accounting software and developing technical accounting knowledge Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines About You A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related subject would be highly advantageous or someone with strong Alevels who has started their AAT.
