Audit Manager

A well-established accountancy practice in Chelmsford is looking to appoint an Audit Manager to join its expanding Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, lead audit engagements from planning through to completion and work closely with the wider team.

Responsibilities:
As an Audit Manager, you will Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industries, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered. Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, reviewing work and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor throughout the audit process. Coach, mentor and develop junior members of the team, supporting their technical and professional development.

Work closely with Partners to manage workflow, identify advisory opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the firm. Requirements:
As an Audit Manager, you will need ACA or ACCA qualified. Strong external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice. Previous experience managing audit engagements and reviewing the work of others. Benefits:
