Client Manager

Are you an experienced Client Manager looking for a role where you can take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while developing your leadership and advisory skills? A well-established accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Client Manager to join its General Practice team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with owner-managed businesses, oversee the delivery of accounts and tax services, and play a key role in supporting and developing junior team members.

Responsibilities:
As a Client Manager, you will Manage a portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, acting as the main point of contact for clients. Review statutory accounts, tax returns and compliance work, ensuring assignments are completed accurately and on time. Provide proactive business advice across accounts, tax, VAT and general commercial matters. Build long-term relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to deliver additional services.

Mentor and support Seniors, Assistants and trainees, helping to manage workflow across the team. Requirements:
As a Client Manager, you will need ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience. Previous experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax. Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
