Full-time (Monday to Friday - 40 hrs per week) Job Purpose We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Commercial Operations Administrator to provide administrative support to a busy waste management operation in the Sheffield area. The role will support the commercial team with day-to-day administration, communication and fleet compliance activities, helping to ensure that operational processes run smoothly and records are accurately maintained.
Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to the commercial and operational teams. Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to enquiries professionally. Monitor and respond to emails, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly or directed to the appropriate team. Maintain accurate and well-organised filing systems, including fleet compliance documentation. Support the team with the administration and maintenance of fleet compliance records. Assist with general office and commercial administration as required.
Maintain accurate information across relevant systems and databases. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Carry out additional administrative duties and tasks as required by the commercial operation. Skills & Experience Previous experience in an administrative, commercial or operational support role. Strong telephone and email communication skills. Excellent organisational and filing skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage information accurately and maintain clear records. Comfortable working with business systems and databases. Ability to work independently while also supporting a wider operational team. Previous experience in waste management would be advantageous. Local knowledge of Sheffield and the surrounding areas would be highly desirable, particularly an understanding of the locations and areas serviced by the operation. Guidant, Carbon
