Job SummaryWrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We're looking for a Commercial Bid Executive to join the Wrightbus Sales team in Ballymena. The role of Commercial Executive (Aftersales) presents an exciting opportunity to develop and grow the commercial and aftermarket support side of the business. You will be responsible for optimising the tender proposal process, liaising with customers and various internal stakeholders, and providing bespoke documentation which meets the growing needs and demands of the Wrightbus client base.
The Role Reporting & Analysis- Prepare weekly performance reports for key target areas and present insights during team reviews.
- Provide updates and drive actions at team reviews on assigned tenders/projects to ensure tracking to deadlines.
- Gather and submit documentation for Pre-qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) ensuring compliance and deadlines.
- Review released tender documents, capture requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to initiate the tender process.
- Prepare Bid/No-Bid documentation and facilitate decision-making.
- Gather and organise relevant information from tenders for future use in bid library.
- Compile tender part lists, highlight existing Wrightbus part numbers, and liaise with procurement for part identification and costing.
- Organise supply chain review meeting to confirm part numbers identified, supplier list proposed and progress to costing stage.
- Provide commercial documents (e.g., Terms & Conditions, draft contracts) to Legal for review and approval.
- Upload pricing and supporting documents accurately to tender portals before deadlines.
- Collaborate on new parts projects, including BOM setup, costing, logistics, and promotional material (PowerPoint, flyers, campaigns).
- Contribute ideas for parts packages and promotions in the ideas portal.
- Support Sales Team with fleet profiles, promotional rollout strategies, and respond to customer feedback post-launch.
- 3rd Level qualification in a Business or Engineering related discipline
- Experience of quotation/tender preparation.
- Experience of parts pricing and sales administration/invoicing.
- Experience using business management software.
- Working with customers to agree and negotiate final requirements.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
