Billing Executive

Overview

Wrightbus is a fast-moving company that has experienced significant growth. We are seeking a Billing Executive to join our Billing Team. The successful candidate will support accurate and timely customer invoicing, maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to improving billing accuracy and workflow efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with billing or customer service experience who is confident with Excel and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

• Prepare, review and issue customer invoices in line with agreed billing cycles and contract terms.
• Maintain billing data integrity across systems and ensure audit-ready accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve customer billing queries promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, AR and wider Finance to support end-to-end order-to-cash processes.
• Support monthly reporting, reconciliations, and billing analysis tasks.
• Assist in process improvements and documentation of updated billing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and GDPR requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers.

• A-Level or equivalent qualifications; preferably in Business, Finance etc. Or NVQ level 2 or 3 in Business Administration, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Previous billing and/or customer service experience in a similar role.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, lookups, and data checks).
