Role Description

The Contracts Co-ordinator is a part-time, on-site role based in Cookstown. The role involves supporting contract administration across active projects, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining contract documentation and records. The Contracts Co-ordinator will coordinate communications between internal teams, clients, and suppliers, ensuring that key contract milestones, deliverables, and compliance requirements are tracked and met. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with contract negotiations, monitoring contract performance, updating contract registers, and managing queries related to terms and conditions.

The position also involves providing customer-focused support, identifying contract-related risks or issues, and contributing to process improvements in contract management.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret contract terms, assess risks, and review project data accurately.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to liaise effectively with project teams, clients, suppliers, and management.
  • Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to support discussions on terms, conditions, and variations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess Contract Management skills to maintain documentation, track obligations, monitor deadlines, and assist in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond professionally to queries, build positive relationships, and support client satisfaction throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Relevant experience in construction, engineering, or a related sector is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel) are preferred.
  • A relevant qualification in business, law, construction management, or a related field is advantageous.
